The Hydro‑Logic PreEvolution ChloraShield Carbon Filter is a specialized pre-filter designed to perfectly match Hydro‑Logic’s Pre‑Evolution system. It removes 100% of chloramine and effectively reduces iron, sulfur, chlorine, and heavy metals, making it ideal for city water supplies. With a 1-micron rating and a flow rate up to 1 GPM, it maintains excellent performance while minimizing pressure drop. Made in the USA, this filter also features bacteriostatic properties to prevent microbial growth. For optimal performance, it should be replaced after filtering approximately 7,500 gallons of purified water.
